Oscar-winning Hollywood superstar Russell Crowe has recently retweeted a message from a fan, who hoped to watch him and acclaimed Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut come together for a film. He retweeted the post on his verified Twitter profile on August 13.
The tweet read, “How great it would be if two great actors from two different film industries, Academy award winner @russellcrowe and 4 times National Awards winner #KanganaRanaut make a movie together?”
This shoutout from Crowe has sparked an online frenzy among both Indian fans and actors.
Indian media is speculating what sort of films they can co-star together.
The 57-year-old actor, won the Academy Award for his performance in Ridley Scott’s ‘Gladiator’ back in 2000.
Crowe's other award-winning performances include tobacco firm whistle-blower Jeffrey Wigand in the drama film ‘The Insider’ (1999) and John F. Nash in the biopic ‘A Beautiful Mind’ (2001). He has also starred in films such as the drama ‘Romper Stomper’ (1992), the mystery-detective thriller ‘L.A.
