After West Indies leveled the series 1-1 by winning the second ODI against Pakistan, Bangladesh dropped one spot in the ODI rankings.
Bangladesh slipped to 10th place, while West Indies moved up to 9th with 78 rating points compared to Bangladesh’s 77.
The Caribbean team secured a five-wicket victory under the rain rule in the second ODI, reclaiming their previous ranking position.
Bangladesh had overtaken West Indies to 9th place just last July after defeating Sri Lanka in the second ODI.
Pakistan also slipped in the rankings, dropping to 5th place, while Sri Lanka rose to 4th in the latest ICC rankings update.
Even if West Indies lose the decisive third match of the series, they will remain ahead of Bangladesh in the ODI rankings.
India, New Zealand, and Australia continue to hold the top three positions respectively.
