Imran Hossain Tushar has been named as the acting general secretary of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) for next three months.
Imran joined BFF as personal assistant of president Kazi M Salahuddin in 2016 and later he acted as the BFF Protocol Manager.
The BFF took the decision in an emergency meeting on Monday (Apr 17).
He will replace former BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, who was banned by FIFA for two years for financial irregularities.
The new role for Imran will be his additional responsibility, i.e. he will be retaining his previous portfolio.
