Mehidy showed glimpse in the match

Mehidy Hasan registered his best bowling figures as Bangladesh beat West Indies side by seven wickets in the second ODI in Mirpur to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. He was made man of the match and bagged 4 wickets for 25 runs.

Mehidy who was under pressure to retain his place in the team, matched himself well in the second ODI. After taking one wicket in controlled bowling in the first match, this time he took 4 wickets.

This off-spinner got a taste of 4 wickets for the second time in his ODI career. Both are against the West Indies. Last time he took 4 wickets for 29 runs in Sylhet. This time 4 wickets for 25 runs. West Indies innings stopped at 148 runs. The last 50 runs came in the last two pairs.
