Mushfiqur Rahim, the wicketkeeper and batsman of Bangladesh Cricket team, needed six stitches after fracturing his knee during a workout session at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
Mushfiq needed six stitches below his left knee and shin bone, according to Dr. Monjur Hossain, a member of the Bangladesh Cricket Board's medical staff.
The 35-year-old will now be monitored for a minimum of two weeks.
