The Kiwis piled up 161 for 5 and beat Bangladesh by 27 runs.
After winning the toss, New Zealand skipper Latham decided to bat first for the fourth time in the series.
New Zealand registered their highest total in the series with 161 losing five wickets in their 20 overs.
A wicket each was bagged by the Tigers' Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed and Afif Hossain.
As the Tigers' has already secured their win in the five-match series, the Kiwis had nothing to lose and thus displayed the their highest opening wicket partnership in this series - 58.
