Prime Minister applauds the Tigers!

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has congratulated the Bangladesh National Cricket Team upon winning the first ODI in the current series against West Indies. Sheikh Hasina is often lauded as a dynamic cricket fan and regularly follows and cheers the Tigers in their endeavours.

The match was held at the capital’s Shere-e-Bangla stadium in Mirpur.

Shakib Al Hasan has made a remarkable reentry with this match after a yearlong ban. Hasan is titled the Man of the Match. He alone took four wickets and by doing so has retained his position in the hearts of fans.
