Deputy Speaker Kaisar Kamal and Chief Whip Nurul Islam on Thursday paid tribute at the graves of former President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.
They placed wreaths at the graves and stood in solemn silence for a while as a mark of respect.
Special prayers were offered seeking eternal peace for the departed souls.
Officials of the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat including senior officers and the Sergeant-at-Arms, were present on the occasion.
