The body of content creator Karina Kaiser, who passed away while undergoing treatment in Chennai, India, has arrived in the country. It was handed over to her family at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 5:00 PM on Sunday.
The family has said that the body is being taken to her residence in Banani. The first funeral prayer (janaza) will be held after Maghrib at a mosque in Banani DOHS, followed by a second janaza at 8:00 PM at the Banani Darbar Sharif Mosque, and a third janaza at 10:00 PM at the Central Shaheed Minar. Afterward, her body will be taken to her ancestral home in Munshiganj, where she will be buried in the family graveyard following the funeral prayer.
It is noted that Karina Kaiser had been suffering from a long-term liver complication. As her condition worsened, she was admitted to a private hospital in Dhaka. She was later flown to Chennai, India, via air ambulance for advanced treatment. She passed away late Friday night while undergoing intensive care in the ICU there.
