Gold prices rise by Tk 2,158 per bhori in Bangladesh

Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has raised gold prices in the local market after three consecutive rounds of reductions, increasing the rate by Tk 2,158 per bhori.

In a statement issued Thursday morning, BAJUS said the revised prices took effect from 10:00 am today.

The association said the adjustment was made due to a rise in the price of acid gold (pure gold) in the local market, taking overall market conditions into account.
