Raza masterclass guides Zimbabwe to stunning ODI win

Zimbabwe, thanks to two brilliant tons by Innocent Kaia and Sikandar Raza, beat Bangladesh by five wickets in the first ODI of three-match series at the Harare Sports Club, Harare on Friday.

Bangladesh scored 303 runs by losing two wickets in 50 overs.

Mushfiqur Rahim (not out) hit 52 runs off 49 balls with five boundaries and Mahmudullah Riyad posted 20 runs from 12 balls with three boundaries.

Litton Das (retd hurt) an innings of 81 runs off 89 balls which includes nine boundaries and an over-boundary.

Tamim Iqbal scored 62 runs from 88 balls with nine boundaries and Anamul Haque Bijoy smashed 73 runs off 62 balls with six boundaries and three over-boundaries.

In reply, the hosts scored 307 runs by losing five wickets with remaining 10 balls left.

For Zimbabwe, Innocent Kaia hit a brilliant innings of 110 runs off 122 balls with 11 boundaries and two over-boundaries.

Sikandar Raza smashed a quick 135-run innings from 109 balls with eight boundaries and six over-boundaries.

Luke Jongwe posted 24 runs off 19 balls with two boundaries and an over-boundary.

For Bangladesh, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Mehidy Hasan and Mosaddek Hossain shared a wicket each.
