At least 15 people were injured in a road accident in the Bandarban University area of Sadar upazila early Sunday morning.
Additional Police Super (Sadar Circle) Manna Dey said the accident occurred when the driver of a tourist bus of ‘Saudia Paribahan’ lost control over the steering and fell into a roadside ditch, leaving at least 15 tourists injured on the spot at around 5am.
He said locals rescued the injured and sent them to Bandarban Sadar Hospital. One of the injured has been sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital in critical condition, he added.
