State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury said Bangladesh is now not only a role model for development, but also a role model across the world for the management of Covid-19 situation under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a program titled 'Jonaki Pokar Gaan' on Tuesday (December 21) afternoon at Dinajpur. The event was organized on the occasion of Mujib's birth centenary and golden jubilee of independence.
The State Minister for Shipping said that before the Covid-19 pandemic, many had expressed fears that millions of people would die in Bangladesh. But by the grace of God Almighty and under the strong leadership of our Prime Minister, we have tackled this epidemic.
With the support of PM, we have been able to keep the people of the country safe. The remarkable leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter, the planned health care system has led to the immense success.
He said that the people of the world now want to explore and comprehend the system that Bangladesh has created and followed to tackle the pandemic.
