BRTC’s double decker bus set ablaze in Dhaka’s Mirpur

Unidentified people on Monday afternoon set a double decker bus of state-owned BRTC in Dhaka’s Mirpur No-10 on the second day of the 48-hour countrywide hartal enforced by BNP and like-minded opposition parties.

The attack on the double decker bus was reported around 2:35 pm, said Ershad Hossain, control room officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters.

Responding to the call, one firefighting unit rushed to the spot to douse the fire, he said.
