A Dhaka court has passed the order that Amatullah Bushra, who was arrested following the death of Fardin Noor Parash, a student of Bangladesh University of Engineering Technology (BUET), has to stay in jail till January 8.
Judge Tahsin Iftekhar of Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court-7 heard the bail petition this afternoon and set January 8 to pass the order, according to court sources.
Bushra, a friend of Fardin, was arrested by Rampura police on November 10 last year from Banasree area after Fardin's father Kazi Nooruddin Rana filed a case against her.
Bushra was sent to jail on November 16 last year after her bail plea was rejected following the completion of her five-day remand.
Fardin's body was recovered from Shitalakhya river in Narayanganj's Siddhirganj on November 7 (2022), three days after he went missing.
