And to execute such a gargantuan responsibility successfully, District Commissioners and Superintendents of Police, in other words, the district administration's top officers, are the state's foremost administrative units. Based on the virtue this state possesses and fathoming the trust and responsibility people have put upon us (the officials), all should perform their supposed crucial roles and duties on the field, staying utmost close to the people."
Addressing the Additional IG of Police, Secretary, and DC-SP present in the meeting, the CEC said, "You must have realized the importance of forming the government and local government through elections in a democratic governance system."
He said, "According to the constitution and laws, elections have been an ongoing process for years. Although parliamentary elections get held every five years, various local government elections remain ongoing for one reason. For example, the Zilla Parishad elections will take place on the 17th. Then there may take place two by-elections to the National Assembly."
Meanwhile, the CEC urged the law enforcement agencies and the administration to fulfill their supposed legal responsibilities in all elections to continue the democratic tendency of the country.
