Alhaj MM Enamul Haque, chairman of the country's leading industrial company Amin Mohammad Group and chairman of the editorial board of Daily Shomoyer Alo, has passed away. He breathed his last at his residence in Gulshan in the capital on Saturday (March, 1) at 11:18 pm. He was 64 years old.
The news of his death was confirmed by Gazi Ahmed Ullah, the publisher of Daily Shomoyer Alo.
His Janaza is held at Gulshan Society Mosque (No. 69 Road) on Sunday (April, 2) at 10 am. His body will be buried in the Banani cemetery.
Alhaj MM Enamul Haque was born on December 1, 1958, in a noble Muslim family in Dakshin Medinipur village of Louhjong upazila of Munshiganj. Apart from establishing the Amin Mohammad Group, one of the country's leading housing industry companies, this successful businessman ran various social and humanitarian activities.
Since 1993, the self-made company of MM Enamul Haque, Amin Mohammad Group has been working towards solving the housing problems of the people of the country, fulfilling social responsibilities, expanding business and trade, creating employment, and at the same time creating a smart workforce. He is one of the pioneers of the housing industry sector in Bangladesh. He also debuted as a media entrepreneur. He built many mosques, madrasas, orphanages, and charitable institutions.
