Chief Adviser holds emergency meeting on earthquake preparedness

Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Monday convened an emergency meeting with experts and relevant officials to discuss earthquake preparedness and explore effective response measures.

The meeting, chaired by the Chief Adviser, took place at his office in Tejgaon, according to the Chief Adviser’s press wing.

International organisations and diplomatic missions in Bangladesh, including the United Nations, the European Union (EU), the Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC), the US Embassy, and the Embassy of France, expressed their deepest sympathies to the victims of the recent earthquake, their families, and all those affected.
