Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal made a fresh announcement on the curfew timing window on Saturday night for Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur, and Narsingdi districts.

The nationwide curfew that is enforcing from July 20, 12am, will be lifted in these districts for 11 hours between Sunday and Tuesday (July 28-30).

The curfew will be suspended from 7am to 6pm on each day. However, curfew was lifted from 8am to 5 pm on last Friday and Saturday.

Imposing of curfew in rest of the 60 districts of the country is depending upon deputy commissioners of the respective districts.

Home boss made this announcement late Thursday.

The government is expected to decide on reopening educational institutions and lifting the curfew in most areas after Friday, following widespread violence linked to the quota-reform protests last weekend.
