Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal announced that the curfew in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur, and Narsingdi districts will be lifted for nine hours on both Friday (July 26) and Saturday (July 27). The curfew will be suspended from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on each day.
He made this announcement late Thursday.
However, Deputy Commissioner of Chattogram, Abul Bashar Mohammed Fakhruzzaman, stated that the district will experience a 12-hour curfew lift starting at 6 a.m. on Friday morning.
