A fire broke out in a restaurant named Jhilkutum in Hatirjheel at 5:30 pm today. Duty Officer of Fire Service, Ershad Hossain confirmed the matter to to TheReport.live.
Two units of fire service reached the spot after 30 minutes.
He said, "Two units of fire service are working to put out the fire at JhilKutum restaurant in Hatirjheel at 5:30 pm. Due to the traffic jam, the fire service vehicles were a little late in reaching the spot.”
No casualties have been reported yet. But, 98 percent of the restaurant have been burnt in fire.
The fire was doused later.
