The government has assured that all necessary security measures are in place to ensure a safe and smooth journey for people traveling during Eid.

According to Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Nasimul Gani, law enforcement agencies, including the police, will remain on high alert throughout the holiday period, and there will be no disruption to security services.

Speaking to journalists at the Secretariat on Thursday, Nasimul Gani emphasized,

"All necessary preparations have been made to ensure the safety of Eid travelers, particularly at major transportation terminals. Despite the long Eid holiday, law enforcement officers, including the police, will continue their duties and remain vigilant."

He further reassured that police stations across the country would continue their normal operations to ensure public safety.

"Police and other law enforcement officers are not on leave. They will remain on alert to guarantee security," he said.

The Home Secretary also reflected on the situation from the previous year, noting,

"After August 5th last year, the police force was inactive for a period, but now they are fully operational and working to maintain a stable environment."

In a more hopeful tone, he added,

"We trust that Allah‍‍`s mercy will protect our nation, and the authorities will do everything necessary to ensure that everyone can celebrate Eid safely."

With these steps in place, the government aims to provide a peaceful and secure experience for Eid travelers across the country.
