Hanging body of the The Report's assignment editor, Shobnom Sharmin has been recovered from her rented apartment in the capital’s Hatirjheel area. Her body was found hanging from a ceiling fan.
Shobnom was recently married to a former journalist of a TV channel and was on leave from work. Police recovered her hanging body from her flat around 10:30 pm on Tuesday. Later, her body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for post-mortem.
Shobnom's elder sister Shobnom Parveen filed a written complaint with Hatirjheel police station on Tuesday evening.
The Report family deeply mourns her untimely demise.
