A Dhaka court set June 15 for a hearing on charges filed against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in 11 cases.
Additional Public Prosecutor Tapash Kumar Pal said, Judge Md Asaduzzaman of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court adjourned the hearing and set a new date.
The adjournment came as a result of requests filed by the defense for various reasons.
Khaleda, who was released from jail due to a government executive decision, is now ill and staying at her Gulshan residence.
Ten of the eleven cases were brought in the first three months of 2015 over arson attacks, while the other was filed with a Dhaka court on a charge of making slanderous remarks about Liberation War freedom fighters and martyrs.
Gatco, Niko, and Boropukuria coalmine are the three corruption charges against Khaleda that are currently ongoing in three additional special courts in Dhaka.
The Second Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court has two more cases pending.
