Dhaka South City Corporation mayor Fazle Nur Taposh wants to make no comment on the remarks of former mayor Sayeed Khokon.
While asked on Khokon’s Tuesday’s remark the running city chief executive said, “I don’t want to comment on Sayeed Khokon’s issue. I have no reaction. I won’t talk anything on this matter.”
Taposh said this while talking to newsmen after opening Boys Club at Tikatuli in the capital on Wednesday (June 30).
On Tuesday, Khokon alleged that the Anti-Corruption Commission froze 8 bank accounts belonging to the former mayor and family as Taposh pushed so.
While asked on this allegation Taposh said, “I have nothing to comment in this regard. Ask me if you have any other issue”.
Mentioning the waterlogging problem in Dhaka city Taposh said, “We are working to solve the problem. So far, no waterlogging has been created in the city this year. But there are some complications. We have dug out a canal in Shanirakhra to remove waterlogging. Permanently it will resolved taking projects”.
