An Indian court ordered 14 day judicial custody to six people including Prashanta Kumar Halder aka PK Halder.
Judge Jeewan Kumar Sadhur of Kolkata city court in West Bengal passed the order on Tuesday, reports Prothom Alo.
PK Halder and his five aides will be produced before the court on 5 July after 14 days of judicial custody.
PK Halder and his aides were produced before the court today after 14 days in custody which was granted by the court on 7 June. The court granted them a fresh 14-day custody.
PK Halder fled Bangladesh grabbing more than Tk 3,500 crore.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) of India arrested PK Halder on 14 May from north 24 Pargana along with the five associates.
The ED had information of amassing illegal asset in India by PK Halder.
Officials said, they had found 88 accounts of PK Halder and his aides.
