Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind may occur at different parts of the country in 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershower with temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country," said a met office bulletin issued here today.
Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate elsewhere over North Bay, it added.
However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 35.5 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and today's minimum temperature 25.0 degrees Celsius was jointly at Netrokona and Rangamati.
The highest rainfall during the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 21 mm in Khepupara.
