Tetulia, the northernmost upazila of Panchagarh district, recorded a slight rise in temperature on Thursday, reaching 9.3°C from the season’s lowest of 8.9°C. Despite this, temperatures continue to hover around the 10-degree mark, leaving residents struggling with the sharp contrast between chilly mornings and comparatively warmer afternoons. Meteorologists have warned that such fluctuations could make the coming days increasingly uncomfortable.
Meanwhile, Teknaf in the southeast registered the country’s highest temperature at 30.8°C, underscoring a significant north-south variation in weather conditions.
According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), the 9:00 am forecast predicted generally dry weather with partly cloudy skies across most regions over the next 24 hours. Light fog may form in some areas during the early morning hours. Night temperatures are expected to fall slightly, while daytime temperatures will likely remain steady.
In Dhaka, the sun is expected to set at 5:13 pm today and rise at 6:32 am tomorrow.
