Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has formed a new cabinet with 25 ministers and 11 state ministers after winning the 12th national parliament election for the fourth time in a row. The new cabinet members started office on Sunday.
The recently appointed ministers and state ministers will get to meet everyone besides to learning about the responsibilities of their respective ministries. To welcome the new cabinet members the ministries have taken various preparations.
Nameplates of ministers and state ministers of all ministries have been changed. When they reach the secretariat, they will be greeted with flowers by the secretaries of the ministries and departments. They will be received by officials headed by the secretary. After that, there will be an introduction meeting in the conference room.
Earlier on Thursday, the newly formed cabinet members took oath. Then on Friday, they paid their respects at Bangabandhu`s memorial in Tungipara, Gopalganj.
