On Monday (December 3), three people died when a trawler sank in the Kanthalia River in Comilla's Meghna upazila.
The matter was confirmned to the media by Md Chhamiuddin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Meghna police station.
Several people were also injured while one person went missing in the accident that took place around 12:30 pm,
The deceased were from Natun Hasnabad village in Daudkandi upazila. However, the identities of the dead have not been confirmed yet.
