Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan today said the visa policy is up to the United States.
"The decision to grant visas is solely up to the country. The US government did not issue any statement regarding anyone in particular," he said while talking to reporters during an event at Satkhira Police Lines in the afternoon.
"They have said that the visa policy may be enforced against those who obstruct fair elections or attempt to manipulate the upcoming election," the minister said.
Regarding the ongoing road march organised by BNP, the home minister said the government is "not afraid of any protest."
"The government is committed to holding the election in Bangladesh on schedule," he said.
