Amid hostile and adverse weather conditions, 100% of the waste disposal of various wards of Dhaka South City Corporation has been completed.
Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh supervised the waste removal program in the control room on the 2nd day.
Greeting the people of Dhaka on Eid, the mayor said that the waste removal has been successful as a result of the joint partnership of the Corporation and the people of Dhaka.

On the 2nd day sacrificial animal waste was removed from 38 wards. The wards are: 1-9, 13-29, 36-38, 52, 54-57, 63, 71-73
Earlier, the Mayor of South City, Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said, "3500 equipment of South City Corporation will work to remove the waste generated on the day of Eid. Hopefully, it will be possible to remove the animal waste generated today within 24 hours."
