2,520 recommended for appointment as 41st BCS results published

The 41st Bangladesh Civil Service exam‍‍`s final results, which propose 2,520 individuals for positions in the government in various cadres, were released by the Public Service Commission on Thursday.

The 41st BCS test results were posted on the PSC website, http://www.bpsc.gov.bd, this afternoon.

On November 27, 2019, the circular for the 41st BCS was released, resulting in a record-breaking 475,000 applicants for the preliminary exam which was held on March 19, 2021.

When the 41st BCS was first announced, 2,135 officials were to be appointed to various roles; however, later on a total of 2,505 jobs were added.

As many as 21,056 candidates passed the 41st BCS preliminary exam, according to results released in August 2021.

From November 29 to December 7, 2021, the written exams were held simultaneously at eight centers: Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh.

On November 10, 2022, the written exam results were made public, with 13,000 applicants passing the test. The viva voce was then held between March 5 and June 13, 2023.
