Christian Atsu former footballer of Chelsea and Ghana, who went missing in the earthquake in Turkey, has been found but dead. But earlier some media reported that Atsu was rescued alive.
International media reported that Atsu has been rescued alive, citing sources including the Ghanaian ambassador.
The body of Christian Atsu, who went missing in the earthquake in Turkey, has been recovered, Ben Sports and News Strait Times reported on Saturday. Atsu played as a midfielder for Turkish Super League club Hatayspor.
Atsu`s manager Murat Uzunmehmet told news agency DHA on Saturday that his body was found under the rubble in Turkey`s southern province of Hatay.
“His belongings are now being moved. His phone was also found,” he added.
