India and Pakistan extend airspace bans until June 23

These airspace restrictions were originally implemented on April 24 and reflect ongoing tensions between the two neighbors.

India and Pakistan have both extended their reciprocal airspace restrictions for another month, continuing the tit-for-tat measures between the two countries.

On Friday, India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) stating that no aircraft registered in Pakistan—or operated, owned, or leased by Pakistani airlines or operators—will be permitted to enter Indian airspace until June 23, 2025.

This restriction includes Pakistani military aircraft.

In a parallel move, Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) also announced the extension of its airspace ban on Indian flights for another month.

The PCAA confirmed that the restriction applies to all Indian-registered aircraft, whether commercial or military, and remains in force until June 23.

These airspace restrictions were originally implemented on April 24 and reflect ongoing tensions between the two neighbors.
