Pakistan‍‍`s economy has sunk:Imran Khan

The ousted prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan claimed that Pakistan‍‍`s economy has sunk.

“Pakistan is stuck in a quicksand. The only way out is free and fair elections,” Imran Khan also the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said these in an interview to BBC Urdu recently.

He alleged that the incumbent Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif came to power by buying members of parliament with Pakistani Rs 20-25 crores.

Imran, the world-cup wining skipper of Pakistan men’s cricket team, also questioned the role of former Army Chief General Javed Bajwa who was accused of corruption worth Pakistani Rs 1,100 billion.

Bajwa supported Shahbaz to gain the power. Pakistan‍‍`s economy has sunk for these duo, he claimed.

Free and fair elections are the only way out of this. Otherwise the situation in Pakistan will be like Sri Lanka, he warned.

Imran complained that people associated with the current government have put the rule of law landed on the ground. They put themselves above the law. They forgave their self made corruption.
