Two powerful explosions were reported in Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian-administered Kashmir, on Saturday.

The blasts occurred near the city’s airport and the regional army headquarters, according to an official, a Reuters witness, and local residents.

Additionally, residents and an official reported hearing two more explosions in Baramulla town, also located in Kashmir, as hostilities between nuclear-armed rivals India and Pakistan continued to escalate.
