The government has decided to extend this year`s Eid-ul-Azha holidays by one day, including June 27 as part of the holidays.
This decision was taken in the cabinet meeting held today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The previous announcement said that the Eid holidays would be from June 28 to June 30. The holiday will now begin on June 27, according to the changed decision.
A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee is scheduled to be held this evening to determine the date of Eid-ul-Azha.
