Haider Ali, a farmer in Meherpr's Gangni has died due to bee sting. During the same period, four others were injured. This incident took place around 11 am on Friday. The deceased Haider Ali is the son of Tahaj Uddin of Saharbati village.
The injured are Fazlu (40) son of Hadid Ali of the same village, Masum (18) son of Haider Ali, Hayat Ali (60) son of Anand Mandal and Mohammad Ali (55) son of Panjat Ali. All injured have been admitted to Meherpur General Hospital and Gangni Upazila Health Complex.
Abir Hasan, a doctor on duty at the emergency department of Gangni Upazila Health Complex, said that the three injured by bee stings are out of danger. One of the injured, Mohammad Ali has been sent to Meherpur General Hospital as his condition is critical.
