The tourist spots in Rangamati's Sajek Valley will remain shut for six days – from May 9 to May 14– due to visit of President Abdul Hamid.
Sajek Resort Owners Association issued a notice in this regard on Thursday.
According to the notice, President Hamid will spend a three-day vacation there and to ensure his safe and secured stay, the association has taken the decision.
The hotels, motels and resorts will reopen on May 15, it added.
Association's General Secretary Rahul Chakma Jhon said:" We have made the decision as per the instructions given by the local administration ."
