Pakistan announces economic sanction on Russia; says won't repay loan

Pakistan has joined the list of countries to sanction Russia for its latest attack on Ukraine. Along with the Western powers, Pakistan has imposed fresh ecoomic sanctions on Russia in a bid to condemn the Russian invasion. 

However, Pakistan's economic sanction is quirky as ever. Addressing a press conference on Russia Ukraine crisis, Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan condemned Russia’s attempt of invading Ukraine and threatened imposing severe economic sanctions, reports Fauxy media. 

When asked what all economic sanctions Pakistan will impose, the country's PM said that they have over $1 billion debt which Pakistan will not repay now.

He also said that in such tough times all the countries should come together to help Pakistanis in Ukraine and Pakistan.

Reportedly, Pakistan has applied for $2 billion loan from world bank, $1 billion to help Ukraine and $1 billion for helping Pakistanis.
