Md Sarwoer Alam, a well-known BCS (Administration) cadre officer, has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Magistrate of Sylhet.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Monday (August 18), confirming his transfer and posting to the new role. The order was issued by the Ministry’s Field Administration-2 wing.
