Obaidul Quader has done huge loss of Awami League, claims Ekramul Karim MP

Ekramul Karim Chowdhury, Awami League lawmaker from Noakhali-4 (Sadar-Subarnachar Upazila) constituency has claimed AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has done huge harms of Noakhali and the party.

He said this while coming live on social media Facebook on Thursday morning.

Ekramul Said, “You have done a lot of damage to Noakhali and Bangladesh Awami League. The party will have a lot of drawback to compensate. Why you don‍‍`t understand that the leader(Sheik Hasina) has warned you to be silent in many places. Most of the people hate you except some opportunists."

In that live lasted 18 minutes and 23 seconds , the former general secretary of Noakhali district Awami League unit said, “Assalamu Alaikum dear Noakhali people. I don‍‍`t know if you know me. This is  Ekram Chowdhury. I am elected MP for three times. Your beloved Chowdhury of Sadar-Subarnachar. I have had rings on my heart 5 times. I tried toil and moil  for giving you you love. I also received love from you. But  some of the incidents have hurt me." 

In the Facebook live, Ekram said, "I have voted against Mr. Obaidul Quader,  Got lots of votes. The president of Awami League forgave me for that reason and recieved me into the team."

In 2008 She along with Awami League party nominated me for for that  seat again. Malek Ukil‍‍`s family eas against me and they voted for my rival candidate Major Mannan. "

Pointing to Awami League general secreatry Obaidul Quader, he said, "He (Obaidul Quader) has persuaded his brother Quader Mirza to deliver speech against me."

Asking Quader Mirza, Ekram said, "You are now considering yourself as saint, but how many crores of takas have you taken from me?"The people of Companyganj will hate you forever. ”

In last January of 2021, Ekramul Karim Chowdhury had claimed Obaidul Quader belonged to a "family of razakars". Mentioning that, the Awami Laague Lawmaker said,"I had called you the son of a Razakar family, and for that reason, your brother had dropped me from the district Awami League.You yourself came live and told your father, your uncle were  Razakar. Large and fat cows were forciblybrought from Hindu family. I can say with my hand on my chest, I am the child of a freedom fighter."
