Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed disappointment for not having a strong opposition in the country.
The prime minister came up with the dissatisfaction while exchanging her views with the PMO officials on Monday, reported UNB.
She said: “We need a strong oposition party in order to pactice democracy. But, we are not getting any as the two main opposition parties don't have base among the mass people.”
“Both BNP and Jatiya Party were created by the military dictators, who grabbed the state power defying the Constitution. They don't have any interest for the country and its people,” she added.
