Amar Bangladesh Party, or AB Party, organized a demonstration on Sunday in support of the BNP`s second round of nationwide blockade.
Prof Dr Abdul Wahab Minar, a Joint Convener, and Mojibur Rahman Monju, Member Secretary of AB Party led the solidarity meeting and rally, which paraded through the Nightingale roundabout to Shegun Bagicha in Polton in the capital.
The rally was stopped by the police and forced the activists to close their meeting, a press release said.
