A musical documentary on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will star popular Bangladeshi actor Tareen Jahan, according to recent press reports. The docu will be based on the song 'Raktamakha Shiree,' written by Sujan Hajong and composed by Sumon Kalyan.
Sohail Rana Bayati will direct and produce the project.
Tareen recently said in a press statement, “Bangabandhu is the beacon of Bangali consciousness. I have tried to play my part to turn the grief of losing Bangabandhu into strength by taking part in this documentary. Bangabandhu's immortal aura was presented to the new generation on this project.”
Sohail Rana Bayati also penned the screenplay of the project and it was shot by Kamal Chandra Das
The musical docu will air on musician Sujan Hajong’s official YouTube channel called ‘SH Global TV’ on National Mourning Day (August 15) which commemorates the horrific murder of Bangabandhu and his entire family.
