Popular actress Tasnia Farin, known for her work on television and OTT platforms, and for her film debuts in Tollywood with Aro Ek Prithibi (2023) and Dhallywood with Insaf during last year’s Eid-ul-Azha, is now stepping into production.
On Saturday evening, Farin shared on Facebook that she intends to launch her own production company and asked her followers for suggestions on a suitable name. She revealed that the official name will be announced soon. “I want to create work in my own way. That’s why I am planning this production company, where I can bring my ideas to the screen,” she said.
Farin plans to officially inaugurate her production venture later this year with the release of a music video featuring a song she has sung. Last year, she gained recognition in music with Ronge Ronge Rongin Hob, performed alongside Tahsan Khan, written by Kabir Bakul, and composed and arranged by Imran Mahmudul. Following the song’s popularity, Farin announced the release of a new track.
Her upcoming music video, also composed and arranged by Imran Mahmudul, features both Farin and Imran’s vocals. While the full details of the song, including its title, lyricist, and video director, will be revealed later, Farin said the project has turned out well and expressed confidence that audiences will enjoy it as much as her previous release.
Regarding plans to expand the production company into dramas or films, Farin said, “I haven’t thought that far yet. We are starting with music videos and will plan future projects gradually. But I can say that I intend to maintain a steady stream of work from this company.”
Farin has been less visible in acting projects recently. She commented, “I always want to deliver unique and quality work. That’s why my projects are fewer than before. But I hope to bring good news to my audience very soon.”
