After over 20 years of serving the national team, Mushfiq officially stepped away from the ODI format, marking the end of an era in Bangladesh cricket.

He was honored with a Guard of Honor from his teammates before playing for Mohammedan Sporting Club in a Dhaka Premier League match against Rupganj Tigers.
