After a video of Shakib striking a fan with cap went viral on social media last Thursday, the most recent incident was made public.
At Chattogram`s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium`s first T20I of the series against visitors England, ace all-rounder Shakib led Bangladesh to a commanding six-wicket victory. Later that day, Shakib attended a promotional event where a sizable audience flocked to see the star cricketer.
During the commotion, a fan grabbed Shakib`s cap. The cricketer lost his patience and repeatedly beat the man with the cap before being escortedaway. The recordings revealed that the event`s organizers, a clothing company, had not set up enough security to safeguard one of Bangladesh cricket`s top stars.
