Bangladesh Army introduces AD Artillery Gun for enhanced defense

The Bangladesh Army has added a new defensive capability with the introduction of the AD Artillery Gun. Capable of destroying missiles, warplanes, helicopters, or drones from a distance of up to four kilometers, this marks a significant advancement in the country‍‍`s defense strategy.

The inaugural firing of the AD Artillery Gun took place successfully on Monday, March 11, in Inani, Cox‍‍`s Bazar. Army Chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed oversaw the demonstration, which showcased the weapon‍‍`s effectiveness.

At approximately 12:30 PM, the AD artillery gun, loaded with 238 rounds, was fired, destroying a drone positioned four kilometers away in the air.

General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed emphasized the importance of modernizing the Bangladesh Army to meet strategic objectives.

The introduction of the AD Artillery Gun underscores Bangladesh‍‍`s commitment to enhancing its defense capabilities against evolving security challenges.
